Graduated with academic honors from a master's degree in Finance at the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC) where he also obtained his degree as Industrial and Systems Engineer.
He has specializations in informatics, telecommunications and manufacturing processes carried out in South Korea, Ecuador, Argentina, among others.
He currently serves as General Manager of the National Energy Company of Honduras (ENEE) where he was formally incorporated in 2016. He also serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Central American Telecommunications Network (REDCA).
He held the position of Deputy Minister of Public Enterprises of the Sectorial Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Services (INSEP).
His experience in the telecommunication industry is extensive. He was General Manager (2014-2016) of the Honduran Telecommunications Company (HONDUTEL), having previously worked as Deputy General Manager (2010-2014) of the same institution. During his tenure as General Manager, he formed a first level technical team achieving the recovery of the company's financial sustainability. Additionally, it was able to implement strategic projects that today are a pillar in the financial stability of HONDUTEL. He served as Commissioner of the National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL). He has been a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in the area of information technology.
His passion for the enduro bike has allowed him to receive several medals. He is currently the President of the National Motorcycling Federation of Honduras.
